About NFP

Kenya's Eco-Progressive Movement

Vision: To build a united, prosperous and just Kenya anchored on truth, dignity and participatory governance.

Mission: To nurture people-driven leadership and inclusive governance through ethical politics and accountable representation.

NFP's guiding ideology — Eco-Progressivism — argues that sustainable prosperity can only be achieved when environmental health, social justice and economic development advance together. We believe Kenya can grow its economy, create jobs, and improve people's lives today without destroying the environment that future generations will depend on.

Our Five Pillars

The Eco-Progressive Framework

NFP's Eco-Progressivism rests on five interlocking pillars — a Kenyan-grown philosophy that unites ecological responsibility, social justice and digital innovation.

🌳

Ecological Stewardship

Conserving forests, rivers and biodiversity is essential for long-term prosperity. Kenya loses 12,000 hectares of forest per year — NFP will reverse this and increase forest cover to 15% by 2030.

⚖️

Social Justice

Access to education, health care, water, clean energy and decent work is a right, not a privilege. NFP will achieve UHC coverage above 80% and recruit 40,000 teachers to reduce overcrowded classrooms.

🤝

Economic Inclusion

Public-private cooperation must create equitable opportunities — youth employment, SME support and fair trade. NFP will launch a Youth Employment Guarantee Scheme and establish 12 green industrial parks by 2028.

💡

Technological Innovation

Harnessing Ethical AI, digital tools and green technology accelerates agricultural productivity, healthcare delivery and citizen participation. NFP will double broadband penetration to 80% and establish a National AI Research Institute.

🏛️

Ethical Governance

Transparency, devolution and anti-corruption measures ensure efficient use of public resources. Kenya loses KES 608 billion annually to corruption — NFP will digitise procurement and cut corruption losses by 50%.

🌾

Agro-Ecology & Food Security

NFP will ban highly hazardous pesticides (HHPs), subsidise organic inputs and restore soil health on 500,000 hectares — transforming Kenya's agriculture into a safe, productive and climate-resilient sector.

Our Manifesto 2027–2032

Eco-Progressive Policy Commitments

NFP's manifesto presents concrete, evidence-based policies across 12 sectors — with short-term (0–18 months), medium-term (2–3 years) and long-term (4–5 year) implementation timelines.

01

Youth Employment & SME Growth

Launch a National Youth Employment Guarantee Scheme (YEGS) offering 100 days of paid work per year. Build 12 green industrial parks creating 500,000 jobs by 2028. Cut SME tax to 1.5% and create a KES 50 billion SME Recovery Fund.

02

Agriculture, Food & Agro-Ecology

Ban highly hazardous pesticides (HHPs), subsidise organic fertilisers and restore soil health on 500,000 hectares. Increase maize yields from 2 t/ha to 5 t/ha through agro-ecology. Transform 70% of farms to organic operations by 2032.

03

Universal Health Coverage

Create SHA merging existing schemes with progressive premiums. Recruit 25,000 community health workers. Achieve UHC coverage above 80% and reduce maternal mortality to below 250 per 100,000 live births.

04

Green Energy & Industry

Review all power-purchase agreements to lower electricity tariffs. Add 2,500 MW of renewables. Achieve 95% renewable energy in the national grid and position Kenya as a green energy exporter within East Africa.

05

Digital Economy & AI

Double broadband penetration to 80% within two years. Introduce coding and AI modules in all 47 counties. Establish a National AI Research Institute and create digital innovation hubs in every county.

06

Ethical Governance & Devolution

Digitise all public procurement and publish all tenders online. Increase county revenue allocation to at least 30%. Establish Eco-Justice Tribunals and reduce corruption losses by 50% through AI-based fraud detection.
